Baruchim Habaim. Welcome to my blog. I am a father to three wonderful step-daughters and husband to Maureen Farrell-García (future scholar), and live in Elmhurst/Maspeth, Qns. I am a PhD candidate at NYU’s Skirball department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies under the supervision of Prof. Lawrence H. Schiffman. As an undergrad I studied with Prof. R. Steven Notley at Nyack College, Manhattan Campus. My interests are primarily archaeology in the Hellenistic and Roman Period, Post-Biblical Jewish Literature, Second Temple History, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Historical Jesus, the Synoptic Gospels & Problem, and Rabbinic Literature.
